Bradley L. Kelly, Member
Since 1989, Brad has defended his clients, including some of the nation's largest health care providers, in civil, criminal, regulatory, and appellate litigation matters both locally and across the country. He also has briefed and argued appellate matters in several states and most of the federal circuits. Brad's work experience includes service as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, where he handled a wide array of civil, criminal, and appellate cases. He also was a senior litigation partner in the Washington office of a major national law firm prior to opening his own practice.

Brad received his B.A. with high honors in 1976 and his J.D. with honors in 1979 from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, an active member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars, and an inactive member of the Texas Bar.

Brad, who was recognized in 2007 as a Top Lawyer by Washingtonian Magazine, as a Maryland Super Lawyer, and as a Washington Super Lawyer, enjoys an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell. He has presented numerous speeches and mock trial programs to health care industry groups and has provided legal commentary for the Legal Times of Washington and the local NBC News affiliate, Channel 4. He lives in Bethesda with his wife and two sons.

Laura J. Oberbroeckling, Of Counsel
Laura has a wealth of experience handling litigation and health care regulatory matters. Her litigation practice includes defending companies and individuals in commercial disputes, professional malpractice actions, white collar criminal prosecutions, and employment cases. Laura is a former partner in the Washington office of a major national law firm and served as the acting chief cousel for a national pharmacy services company headquartered in Florida.

Laura received her B.A. with high distinction from the University of Iowa in 1988 and her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was a member of the Law Review, in 1992. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is an active member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars and an inactive member of the Virginia Bar. She lives in Gaithersburg with her husband and three children.

Carrie Nixon, Of Counsel
Carrie began her career as a litigator in 2000 with a national law firm in Washington, D.C. She practices as a general litigator, and is active in administrative proceedings, criminal investigations, and health care litigation. Carrie is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia and has appeared before the federal district courts in those jurisdictions. She is also admitted to practice before the Fourth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

Carrie's experience extends beyond corporate legal clients to include work with political campaigns, state and federal legislatures, and nonprofit organizations. She has been a founding Board member and officer of Hope Street Group since 2003, and co-founded the New Electoral Reform Alliance for Virginia in 2005.

Carrie who received her J.D. from the University of Virginia in 2000 and her B.S. Summa Cum Laude from James Madison University in 1995, has published on the topic of tort reform. She lives in Vienna with her husband and daughter.

Teresa Donaldson, Paralegal
Teresa is a certified litigation paralegal with over twenty years of experience in business administration. She managed her own commercial construction company for over nine years prior to receiving her paralegal certification. Teresa who also is a notary in the State of Maryland, resides in Bethesda.
